Breweries End of Line Checkweigher
FMCG, Food, Beverages, Breweries End of Line Checkweigher
High Reliability for Heavy Loads
The CK caseweigher series is a very cost effective and easy to use dynamic weighing solution. Its fast weight capture and flexible integration into existing conveyor lines make this caseweigher suitable for completeness checking of multipacks and weight capture of larges packages, sacks or cases in all automated end-of-line packaging and logistic applications.
The CK series is available in 5 sizes, these models allow for use in a very large variety of applications where heavier loads up to a maximum of 100 kg need to be dynamically weighed. All CK models are equipped with a very clear and simple weighing terminal which includes key buttons. This keeps operator training to a minimum and requires no language skills. The weighing terminal will also automatically perform the zeroing function immediately after start-up.

FAQs of Breweries End of Line Checkweigher:
Q: How does the Breweries End of Line Checkweigher enhance quality control in bottling and packaging lines?
A: By weighing each pack with 0.1 g accuracy, the checkweigher identifies under- or overweight products and automatically rejects non-compliant items using air blast or pusher mechanisms. This ensures only correctly filled packs reach customers, maintaining consistent product quality.
Q: What types of operations or environments is this checkweigher best suited for?
A: Designed for breweries, bottling lines, and packaging plants, this system excels anywhere high-speed, precise weight sorting is needed. Its stainless steel body, IP65 rating, and floor-mounted design make it ideal for industrial and hygienic environments common in the food and beverage sector.
Q: When should I use the data export function, and what are its benefits?
A: Data export via USB or Ethernet should be used regularly to monitor production trends, ensure compliance, and maintain records for audits. This feature simplifies data management, enables quick troubleshooting, and supports process improvement initiatives.
Q: Where is the best place to install the checkweigher for optimal performance?
A: For optimal performance, install the checkweigher at the end of the packaging or bottling line, ensuring a smooth transition from upstream processes. The floor-mounted design provides stability, and its compact footprint fits well in limited spaces.
Q: What is the process for adjusting conveyor speed or language settings?
A: Conveyor speed and language preferences can be adjusted directly from the digital LCD interface. Simply navigate the systems menus to modify speeds up to 48 m/min or to select preferred language options, making the unit adaptable and user-friendly.
Q: How does the automatic sorting benefit production efficiency?
A: Automatic weighing and sorting reduce manual handling, minimize operator error, and speed up the rejection of non-conforming products. This leads to higher throughput, consistent packaging quality, and streamlined downstream logistics.
