Product Description
API Metal Detector
Pharma GF metal detectors have been developed specifically for use in the pharmaceutical industry to deliver maximum on-line sensitivity. Detectors achieve the highest levels of sensitivity to all metal types by combining an ultra-high frequency coil system with sophisticated digital noise and vibration filtering techniques. Minute particles of ferrous, non-ferrous, magnetic and even non-magnetic stainless steels are detectable along with non-spherical contaminants such as screen and sieve wire, swarf and fine slithers of metal.
Designed to meet pharmaceutical hygiene standards and in accordance with FDA guidelines CFR 21 parts 210 & 211, the complete unit is constructed to an IP65 sealing standard. Manufactured from mirror-polished stainless steel and incorporating a pharmaceutical grade non-metallic product throughput chute, the quick release design allows for fast strip down and easy cleaning.
Built-in performance validation routine software indicates when scheduled system testing is due and assists QA personnel by guiding them through the test routines step by step. Reject confirmation software monitors the operation of the reject system and alarms if the reject fails to operate within the allocated reject time.
